The Sindh Government Budget of 1993–94 marked a critical effort to strengthen provincial finances through new resource mobilization measures and fiscal reforms. While traditional taxes remained important, the budget introduced innovative proposals to broaden the revenue base and reduce deficits. Many of these measures drew directly from SPDC’s research and recommendations, underscoring the Centre’s role in shaping provincial fiscal policy.
